QINOCON was no doubt an educational experience for me. I had learned a lot about
different aspects in the business world, and how it could affect an individual personally.
Throughout QINOCON, I had appreciated the fact that the speakers were immensely
inspiring and seemed dedicated to their goals in life. It helped me to discover what my
goals should be and in turn how to achieve them as fast as I can. I was happy to
participate and would definitely recommend it to future entrepreneurs or anyone
interested in the world of business.
- Tabassum, Year 12.
A conference that I didn’t know what to except from as it was new. And I wasn’t sure if I
should go for it, but I’m glad I did! A very inspiring conference. I got to meet with the
organiser and it was very motivational how he organised it all. The speakers inspired
me and I got to learn so many new things. Definitely going to visit it next year!
-Anaya, Year 11.
We were given the opportunity to attend QINOCON, an annual Entrepreneurship
Conference. It is a career building, entrepreneurship conference where we learnt about
turning ideas into organizations and get a chance to listen to the inspiring stories of real-
life entrepreneurs and how the process of starting and maintaining a business is. It was
successful and sparked our thoughts!
- Jawaher, Year 12.
QINOCON was a well-planned, inspiring experience. From the Al Jazeera
representatives to the MUN speaker, every moment was filled with motivation and awe.
Being surrounded by similarly driven people made the atmosphere competitive and
helped us try to push ourselves to be the first to be successful... like the young
entrepreneur speaker. Our "Why" was taken to "How";
Great experience created by great people.
-Hatem, Year 12.
QINOCON was a wonderful experience, even though I don’t take business as a subject,
I was able to learn a lot about how to be efficient and hardworking. I really liked the fact
how most of the speakers emphasised on problem solving skills and positive attitude to
any outcome which might be negative or positive. Not only that we can see that
confidence is also a big part of becoming entrepreneur. Overall my experience at
QINOCON helped me attain knowledge that will help me in the future.
- Yusra, Grade 11
